Monet, Water lilies
Hello Apprentices! I wanted you to be the first to know about Camp heARTful’s upcoming summer art camps at the Apprentice Art Studio! They are NEW! and I have been dreaming and scheming all winter long on these two unique art camps.
A Painter of Light is in the Apprentice Atelier Series which studies a Master Artist. Students will dive into the world of the Impressionist, Claude Monet. Campers will focus on colors and light and hopefully the weather will cooperate and we will paint Plein Air or outside just as Monet did.
The other art camp, Winged Things, Sewing and String will provide campers with the opportunity to use a different type of art medium and create fiber art. Campers will create projects of all types of winged creatures. They will paint on fabric, weave, applique, embellish and learn simple sewing stitches that students will use their whole lives. They will even create their own materials for embellishing a creation or two.
