New Mixed Media Class Update!

I am still on schedule to bring you The Sea- A Mixed Media Class this summer. Please stay tuned. Your questions and comments have spurred me on to get this accomplished. I will say we are close. FYI: film editing takes much longer than I predict, always, especially when doing this yourself. Hang in there, just know I am working on it. It will be a fun class!

This class embodies two things that we love: the sea and mixed media collage. Both bring solace and deep gratification. Living in the Pacific Northwest, we are minutes from the sea and its briny smell and melodious sounds. We can’t imagine living anywhere else. Collage, as an art form, also brings satisfaction and relaxation with simple materials and a simple process. This class was inspired by this painting by Van Gogh titled The Sea at Les Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer, 1888. We chose this painting as part of our branding because it evokes wonderful memories, life clarity, and wholeness for us. We will use it as our inspiration and model for this project. This class is for kids and adults of all ages, a great family project.
